Uttaramane (ಉತ್ತರ ಮನೆ) means "home of the north" in Kannada; its tagline ಉತ್ತರ ಕರ್ನಾಟಕದ ಅಡುಗೆ ಮನೆ means "the kitchen of North Karnataka". Uttaramane is an upcoming Bengaluru-only online store for authentic Uttara Karnataka (North Karnataka) foods. Products are sourced from home kitchens and small makers in Ilkal, Hungund, Hubballi, Bagalkot, Bengaluru, repacked hygienically and delivered within Bengaluru. Ordering is not open yet; launch is planned for early 2027. People can vote for the foods they want (foods reaching 100 votes go into the first batch) and join the launch list on the website.

## FAQ

- **What is this?** Uttaramane will bring home-style Uttara Karnataka (North Karnataka) foods to Bengaluru: kadak rotti, chutney pudis, snacks and sweets from Ilkal, Hungund, Hubballi, Bagalkot and nearby towns. We source from small makers, pack the food fresh and deliver within Bengaluru.
- **Can I order now?** Not yet. We are checking demand before we start. Join the launch list and tell us what you want, and we will email you when ordering opens (we are aiming for early 2027).
- **How does the voting work?** Tap "I'd buy this" on any food. Each device gets one vote per food, and foods you pick when you join the launch list count too. Every food that reaches 100 votes goes into our first batch.
- **Which areas will you deliver to?** Bengaluru only at launch. Tell us your area when you sign up so that we know where to start. After launch we plan to be available on quick-commerce apps as well.
- **What will you do with my email and phone number?** We use them only to tell you when we launch. No marketing lists, no sharing, no selling. Phone is optional. You can ask us to delete your details at any time.
- **Is the food made in a factory?** No. We work with home kitchens and small makers in North Karnataka who already make these foods for their own communities. We handle hygienic packing, labelling and delivery.
- **I don't see a food I want. Can I request it?** Yes, please do. The sign-up form has a box for requests. What people ask for decides what we stock first.
